Leroy, are you doing touchup or a repaint? I love the looks of the 88
to 90 wbpts. Some of the stripe colors they introduced in the 90's
got less classic and more personal. I often wondered if BB just
allowed customers to make these design crimes in special order
coaches. A fun thing to do is manipulate the color of your coach in
a paint program. Doesn't sound like it will hurt to get creative
with the colors if you are thinking of a repaint.

while looking for a coach when I read "custom paint" it had the same
effect as "she's got a pretty face"

Gregory: Not thinking about a repainting. The paint is in fabulous shape, not
a scratch anyplace except a couple of recent chips that I did while changing the
broken end of the main Zip Dee awning brace. I dropped the main awning on the
side of the coach. Ouch! Dumb! It could have been worse.

I don't know about the paint or design on our girlie bus---turquoise and rose
over two tone gray---but our interior was altered by the original owner during
construction. Our interior is top notch. I have been told that Royal did the
interior, haven't been able to verify. Got Steven Birtles looking into it
although it really doesn't mean anything, talking points maybe. The idea of
repainting has previously been squashed by the wife. Thanks for the response.

Lee: Thanks much for the reply. A double check shows 73773 should have been
79773. The 92329 number is stamped in the upper left hand corner of the paint
code sticker. So, 79773 is the correct number. Can I purchase the paint from
you? I haven't found any locally. Need it for touch up purposes. What is the
shelf life?

leroy, if it is touchup I would just take the bus to a good dealer
autobody shop and get an out the door quote ( may be less expensive
than you think). Chances are that the paint color will change with
the transfering out of the 1990's restricted formulas. and in the
quart mininum mix quantities you will need you are talking over 400.
bucks. A good shop can site mix and blend. you won't get the code
excuse "but sir that is the paint code you ordered." Prism in the
metalic paints is also something that will be hard to match unless
you have special skills. maybe the paint code is a royal number. Bob
and Dixie G have a 92 Royal conversion, I wonder if they have info on
the codes.

Paint
Gregory: I did think about shading differences etc. You are
probably correct. I may get a bid from the local paint shop. The
area that I screwed up is on the entry door, maybe 2x3. Didn't dent
anything, just scratched and chipped the paint, obviously right where
I can constantly see the damage. Thanks for the input.
Been gone from CA for awhile. Isn't Romoland between Riverside and

Paint
Gregory: Hopefully we can travel to CA next summer. Sounds like I'll need a
class A license pulling a trailer. 7000 pound flat trailer with auto. The
grandkids go back to school next week, that will limit our travel area. Leaving
this afternoon for the IHBA boat drags in Gadsden, Alabama. My friend Don
Ermshar, Riverside, CA is currently second in points, Blown Alchohol Flat
Bottom doing 178MPH in the 1/4, on water. He's now 65 and has a screw loose.
Also have friends in Hemet, Temecula and Aguanga.

Paint
Leroy, Class A is needed for trailers at and above 10,000# GVW even
if they are empty. 5th wheel at or above 15,000# GVW. CHP pulls out
these rules when it looks like the driver is being unsafe.

The easiest way to beat a ticket is by default - when the CHP officer
does not showup in court. I was cited by a Officer J Kennedy and
rescheduled court for 'Good Friday'. When Officer H. Grinblatt gave
me a ticket I rescheduled for the start of 'Yom Kippur'. My most
recent ticket was isued by Officer Ms. Kimberly C.
I sent a check. Women can multitask.

I'll need a class A license pulling a trailer. 7000 pound flat
trailer with auto. The grandkids go back to school next week, that
will limit our travel area. Leaving this afternoon for the IHBA boat
drags in Gadsden, Alabama. My friend Don Ermshar, Riverside, CA is
currently second in points, Blown Alchohol Flat Bottom doing 178MPH
in the 1/4, on water. He's now 65 and has a screw loose. Also
have friends in Hemet, Temecula and Aguanga.
