Tom: Hey, and to others responding to my comment about CDL licenses. FL does
not require a CDL I just read some comments reguarding CA impounds if you are
stopped for some reason. Thanks for the invite. I hear Outdoor Resorts is very
nice. Glad I own a Bluebird. We have been gone for 5 days to the boat races ,
arrived back home to a flooded home. A pipe let go an had been running for
????? Heading to the bus now. It did fabulous on our 1000 mile trip.
Based on others concerns about weight, I weighed the coach on this trip.
Following are details for those interested.

Front axel- actual--13860 GAWR--14400
Drive axel- actual--29760 GAWR--33000--23000drive/10000tag
Trailer with car--5020
Total weight--48640
I weighed the bus with full fuel, fuel propane, one half tank of fresh water,
all the beer, soda and water it will hold, all the BBQ junk, everything the
wife needs or thinks she needs and 4 humans. If I have this correct my WB-40
does not have a weight issue. Wish I could have weighed the tag seperately but
couldn't. Any comments from the group would be appreciated.
I'll be living in the bus for awhile so will check the forum every couple of
days.

Thanks,
Leroy Eckert

Leroy, I have a place in Aguanga at Outdoor Resorts Ranch
California. Not too far from Greg. When you get out here give Greg
or me a call and we can meet.

I'll need a class A license pulling a trailer. 7000 pound flat
trailer with auto. The grandkids go back to school next week, that
will limit our travel area. Leaving this afternoon for the IHBA boat
drags in Gadsden, Alabama. My friend Don Ermshar, Riverside, CA is
currently second in points, Blown Alchohol Flat Bottom doing 178MPH
in the 1/4, on water. He's now 65 and has a screw loose. Also
have friends in Hemet, Temecula and Aguanga.
