Steerable vs Liftable vs Dumpable Tag

Here's the way I see it:

Dumpable tag is good, drags sideways on tight manuevers and leaves
black skidmarks on white concrete, but it helps A LOT. It is slow to
dump and slower to inflate, plan ahead. Touching the brakes with it
dumped is bad, the tires will skid (pre-'95 had no ABS).

Liftable tag is better. Can be driven with the tag lifted, at low
speeds. Highway speeds no. Load ratings at the same air pressure go
up as speed is reduced, part of the matrix. Still takes a little
time to lift and lower, but the cool factor of people watching it do
its thing makes up for it. You could run around town with it lifted
if your tire pressures are correct for the speed & load.

Steerable tag is good too, doesn't steer sharp enough to have no
drag at full steering lock, but much reduced side-loads and should
reduce effective wheelbase when turning sharp. Would be nice to add
negative turn angles to eliminate sway at highway speeds, ... anyone
want to donate a coach for me to experiment with? Steerable &
dumpable makes it better, and if it really bothered you it could be
made liftable, it's only money.

Jeff et al,

The liftable tags AUTOMATICALLY lower if speeds exceed 15MPH, so no
concern with driving at high speed with the tag up.
