30AMP OPS

30AMP OPS
Hey guys thanks for all the help. I have determined how my coach is
wired for 30amp ops. It provides a 30-30 set up requiring two
cords. Following is how my coach is factory wired. In laymen terms.

Aux 30amp shore power plug--The x (black hot) post through relay 1
picks up the 50amp y leg (red hot normally used in 50amp
configuration) and becomes leg 2.

50amp shore power plug--The x post ( black hot) through relay 2
provides power in the same manner as it would if plugged into a 50amp
plug. Leg 1. The adapter for the 50amp cord only powers the x or
black post. The y post is dead through the adapter.

Power from relay 1 and relay 2 are sent to the automatic changeover
devise (transfer switch) leg 1 and leg 2. Apparently, the automatic
changeover devise ( by definition) knows what to do when it senses
power from shore or the generator. I'm not going to check that out,
I'm going to wire an adapter for the 50amp shore power plug and call
it a day.

Thanks again,
