Bonneville Speedweek: Just got back
This year the salt was great and there were lots of records set. There
were over 500 entries,so many that you were lucky to get in two runs in a day even if you got right back in line. Also the number of Rat Rods seemed to have doubled since last year with a parking lot show every night at the Nugget. A very cool event. Jim Matus 1984 35FC Rescue CA |

Bonneville Speedweek: Just got back
Jim, sounds like a great time for sure. We have a rally here on the
right coast in NC. Many of the same folks running out there run here at Maxton NC! They use a closed airport. Last event Hot Rod magazine sponsered some of the cars there were very interesting as well. From new vipers to old "batman" style caddies. The organization is the East Coast Timeing Assoc. Generally, we get several folks together for great times. Two forum members run cars there. Actually, last year we helped a forum member, Jack Jones set a record in his corvette! There is another rally comming up in the next few weeks. Good times for sure, not to mention watching motorcycles run 250mph. Come on come all great food, lots of laughs. John F may pop in with the link to the info for those that may want to attend.
