86 35 ft BB Question
Gail,

Having lived in the Akron/Canton, Ohio area for many years I know
Sirpilla RV has a good reputation and I would not worry about being
scammed by them more than by anyone else selling a used vehicle. Of
course, that means a healthy amount of 'buyer beware'.

Do NOT expect Sirpilla RV to know anything about Bluebirds. It is
possible they maintained the coach, but I doubt it. I am certain they
only deal in plastic coaches. They will be ignorant about how most of
the systems work, so you will need to check everything out yourself.

86 35 ft BB Question
Gail, for 20 G's why spend any money checking it out past a
Campingworld safety checkup. Write the check, Dont look back and Drive
it like you stole it, Sounds like you did.

All an expert is gonna do is give an opinion and qualify it with "but
its 20 years old, who knows what could happen". What I do is ask others
for their opinion until I find someone who agrees with me and then I go
with what they say.

86 35 ft BB Question
Hi Gail:

I had bid on that Coach some 6 weeks ago, then it disappeared, before the
auction was completed. It is an '86 with '93 up dates and looks to be a
nice Coach. I know nothing more of the Coach. When you get there, look
under the overhead by the drivers seat, next to the windshield and there
should be a data plate there. On that data plate will be the date of
manufacture. Good luck

Safe travels,

86 35 ft BB Question
Look for the 'Blue Box'. It's a plastic box sized for manila folders
which came with the coach originally and is where most owners keep
their records. It should have all the manuals and wiring diagrams,
but most importantly, a history of the coach's maintenance. For me,
the info in the bluebox was crucial in my buying decision. For
instance, the seller did not know that a CAT reman'd engine had been
installed 25k prior, but the record was in the box.

Good plan Greg, I think that's what a lot of us do if the truth were known.
