There is a 1987 PT-40 at Preliament Coach, Clearwater, FL that is said
to be garage kept, like new. It looks very nice in the photos. I think
they are asking $89,000?? or negotiable. Don't know if the price is
reasonable. http://www.parliamentcoach.com

Leroy,

I can't say if the price is fair, but I *can* say that Parliament is
very negotiable AND they are the best dealer I have ever dealt with.

I bought my 97 from them 3 years ago and spent 10 days there while
they fixed (at their expense) EVERYTHING I could find. Got an
excellent deal and excellent service.

Seems high Leroy, unless it truly is "like new" with NO deferred maintenance or
things not working.

Paul/Richard:
I haven't physically seen it. I just remembered today I had seen it in an ad
about a month ago. I was looking at an RV Trader and saw it again in
Parliaments display ad. I suppose it could be on consignment or a trade-in.
Thought I would pass it along to those who are looking. If someone is
interested, maybe it could turn out to be something nice. I agree, gotta watch
the deferred maintenance issues. Thank ya'll

Leroy, I have a 1988 PT40 WB for sale-asking $80,000. 1988 is the
first year that Bluebird make the wide bodies. As stated by others
in this forum, I will tell you as another forum member, everything
that is wrong with my coach-which by the way, is very little and the
few things that don't work you probably would not care about fixing.
My coach is in excellent condition and there are many people on this
forum that know the coach and how well I kept it up. Last month I
took a trip to Vicksburg, Mississppi. You can go to RV Trader online
and search for a 1988 Wanderlodge and you will be able to see photos
and a full description of the coach. If you are interested I can
give you details of all that I have done to the coach to bring it to
its present condition. The colors may or may not be to your liking
but you will find it difficult to find a coach in the condition this
one is in for the price I am selling it for. Good luck, I have owned
four motorhomes and the Bluebirds are the best.

Doug- Have you seen Dave Hardy's 84 PT40? It is a very nice coach and I have
been in that coach many times.

I spoke to Parlament coach about this unit the middle of July. It is
on consignment and the owner wants to get $75k out of it. They are
very nice to deal with and are willing deal. Unfortunalty we have a
limit of about 50k for what we are looking for or I would have taken
it.

Doug:

I thought by the ad's that Parliament had the coach two-three months. What did
they say about it's condition? Looks nice in pic's.. I'm not looking because I
have a great one, but I do try to keep up with market trends. Perhaps you could
stand by and make an offer later, one that states take it or leave it for 30
days. You never know. However you need to touch and feel it. I'm going to
Tampa in mid- November. If it's still there I wouldn't mind going across the
bay to have a look at it.

Sorry, I missed your post. Been up primping on my coach. I was trying to help
those that are looking. Perhaps I didn't chose the best intro marquee. I'm
good at that. Thanks,
