Rostra Electric cruise control retrofit
I've decided to replace the vacuum cruise control on my 82 Fc with a Rostra
World Cruise
electric model. The vacuum generator failed on my coach, and while I did
purchase an
inexpensive vacuum generator which I could possibly retrofit, since the original
vacuum
cruise did not seem to work very well, I decided to take the recommendation of a
forum
member and install the Rostra non-vacuum model. It's my understanding that I
should be
able to use the same stalk control switch and speed sensor. Can anyone give me
specific
advice on how to install and wire in the Rostra? By the way it cost $166.30
including
shipping.

While you are contemplating Kerrys question. Would the replacement cruise work
on an
86 PT. Or what would the best replacement be?

My cruise has been flaky since I've owned the beast so I'd love to have one that
worked
well.
