Mac and Jan, thank you for your report on the rally and your support for
Bluebird. Looks like some good things are in the works.

Since the majority of us for whatever reason could not attend this
year. We would like to hear how things went. Your comments, please.

The Rally was nice with about 152 Plus coaches attending. There were
not as many vendors this year, but the seminars were better than ever
and well attended. The new Bluebird owners appear to be very
supportive and appear to want to support the coach works as well as the
bus and transit lines. I personally talked with the new management
team and they were excited about setting up a show at the Miami Boat
Show and getting the advertizing out into the Boating magazines and
maybe even the Flying magazines where the real money is. They
understand the quality of the way the Bluebird is made and the way the
new Bluebirds are made mostly of stainless steel and they feel that the
boating group could help spread the word and the boating industry is a
33 billion dollar industry. I am sure that there is some of that money
left to buy a few 450's. The talk of the new coaches will be a true 45
footer with a 600 HP Cummings and a 12 speed ZF Auto Transmission and
ZF running axles front and rear. These axles can handle more weight
and thus handle the four slides. The new slides will have a flat floor
design with no humps or bumps to step up and down on. This new company
has the money and the brains to bring Bluebird back into the lead and
make Bluebird truely the Best for the all the rest to follow. They
have the money, leadership, brains, and appear to be willing to stick
with Bluebird and bring them back to the TOP! We came to the rally
doubtful and worried, but left excited and happy and thinking seriously
of buying a new 2008 model when they come out.
