The Forums?
Jack, we have been discussing that figure just recently. Two things that we
can surmise: 1- Yahoo, for some reason, has inflated their way to count
whenever they reconfigured their groups. 2 The members log on, check the sites
out,
either forget about unsubscribing , continue to partcipate or just forget about
the forums. I believe the true membership will come out after a period of
time and that the subscribing and unsubscribing will settle down a bit. Until
then, when we continue to ask questions and post replies we will continue in our
quest to have a darn good forum. Thanks to all the members that have made it
such. Ernie -83PT40 in Texas

The Forums?
A couple of months ago, the original forum had some 1400 members or so.
Now Bruces forum has 260, and Ernies 300.
Where are the other 900?
Did we just lose the dis-interested, and non-owners or so?

Needless to say, there never were 1400 members
at the same time. The 1400 number was very misleading.
This number is merely an accumulation of anyone
who joined the list, for whatever reason, stayed, or
moved on. And most moved on. We are finally seeing
a true accounting of just how large this list is.

More than likely some of both. Also you can figure that there are a bunch of
folks that are on both lists. So don't think that you can add the two together
to figure you've only gotten a third of the members. Remember, with yahoo. Once
they are't interested in the list and expecially if they are on no mail anyway.
They never take themselves off so its bogus info to start with.
