UPPER MIDWEST RALLY AUG 26-28
I am planning a Bluebird Rally on the above dates to be held at Stoney
Creek RV Resort, awarded Wisconsins best camp ground. It is centrally
located for Mn. and Wi. This a Bluebird Rally and is open to all
owners and want to be's. They have heated pools, mini golf, laundry
facilities, ativity center, play-grounds, covered wagon rides and will
have a Hawaiian Luau: Ray"Lazer Jockey". Sand Castle contest. Pot
Luck, a dish to pass that will feed five or more on Sat. I have
requested 10 sites, more if needed. Back up plan for over flo, two
blocks away at the Shell Station and Pomp tire place. They have given
me permission for dry camping on their level black-top lot.
Osseo is on interstate 94 and Hwy. 10, 20 miles east of Eau Claire, 95
miles east of Hudson. Wi. and 135 miles N.W. of Madison, Wi.

I will have to know by May 10th how many will be coming.

Contact David Thompson 715-458-2216 or Stoney Creek 1-888-349-6399.

David: May is too early to make a committment. We plan on going to
Oshkosh the end of July and either go to Michigan's UP or back to
Glacier in Montana. Won't know are plans for sure till some time in
June.

Count me in. I was hoping someone would do one in Wisconsin. I just
bought my BlueBird in November so it will be nice to meet other Bird
owners. Let me know if I need to register with you or the
campground.

Thanks.

Hay you guys from the mid-west it really is fun to meet other people who love
these old birds. there kind of a addiction and it one sweet ride. Going to Drive
to Califronia in another week and just ran into a guy who open a whole new motor
home experience. And that is camping at these Indian reservations that have
gambleing resorts! Sound great! if you want hook up you pay if not you just park
it and enjoy the casino cheap food! Now that's my style of camping! Jon

Osseo?!?! With only 10 spaces reserved, I guess it's a good thing you did
not mention the Norske Nook - that certainly would have caused demand to
far exceed supply. I can almost taste the pies already.

I'll be lucky to know by August 10th if I can make it or not :-(

We agree with Dennis, we will be lucky to know if we can attend at the
earliest by the end of June. But the Norske Nook is a big draw!

Dennis where did you store your Bird while you were gone.

We where waiting to see if there was going to be a rally in the
midwest, even got excited when you posted this, then realized we
already have plans that weekend that can't be changed. Maybe next
time.
