Perkins cold start

I agree. There is a warning placard on my pilots window stating turn it off. I
follow that warning, always. My intent was to provide a warning and let the
operator decide.

Leroy if you have a retarder system dont consider turning it off
absolutely turn it off if you are travelling on roads that are
slippery and/or may have either ice or snow on them. There is a
caution in every manual to turn them off. Same with the cruise
control. Guess it would be scary to all of a sudden to have either of
them to engage when you least expect it.
