Battery R&R
This afternoon or tomorrow, I plan to remove the six 6V batteries and
install six new T-105s. My plan of attack is to have the Electronic
Master Switch set to off, shore power disconnected, generator battery
disconnected. Anything more that I should do before removing the six
batteries? Thanks.

Curt:
On one of my 6 batteries is an overtemp pad which connects to the
inverter/charger. Shut off the battery master switch at the batteries is there
is one. Are they 6v batteries?

Thanks Leroy. I don't see anything out of the ordinary in the battery
compartment so I don't believe there is the overtemp pad. Yes, they are
6v batteries.

Turn off the inverter(s) if they have separate switching.

Curt,
I would do some streaching exercises and limber up a bit. The last
time I pulled the batteries out my back hurt for two weeks. There is
a non conducting strap tool designed to span the two polls and
provide a handle to make it easier to lift the battery. Do you have
one?

Gardner,
The strap came with the T-105s.
