Speedometer uncertainity

Hello... lurking about and wondering why no one is using a hand held
GPS unit or the DeLorme dash units to figure or compute their speed
readings? I have 2 laptops running gps and a hand held gps and they all
give accurate speedomter readouts....Accurate to within 3 feet.. I use
them all the time on my trips from The mistake on the lake to arcadia
etc. My speedo checks out... I am positive I have an accurate speedo.

I do, just failed to mention it. I have a Garmin Nuvi which works great and
shows my speedometer to be very acccurate. The GPS will put us right at the
front door.

Leroy, We have the Nuvi as well and really like it. When looking for
a flying J or other fuel, just type it in and it tells ya how far
each is...It is so easy to use. Judi can even use it very easy to
find plenty of shopping places.

The Nuvi is very user friendly until the wife starts punching in shopping
locations. Then it ain't so friendly if you know what I mean. Walmart! What
would she do without Walmart? lol
