MAXTON MINI RALLY PHOTOS
Here are a few photos of yesterdays happenings here at Maxton. There
were no record runs on Friday, so it was just car preparations,
junkyard shopping, installing a new leveling valve on Gingers 'Bird
and a new radiator shroud on mine and OH YES.....a lot of eating and
BSing for all to enjoy.

I will post more photos tonight, but for now check out;

I also found out that the mysterious touch and goes by the unlit
USAF C-17 early yesterday morning, was part of a WAR GAMES EXERCISE
that was held here on the other side of the airport, never a dull
moment here at Maxton.

Here is the URL link for The East Coast Timing Association here at
Maxton, if you go to their FAQ link there is a photo of the facility
from the air.

john and all, just got home from a great race rally at maxton! the weather held
off with just a little rain and we had burgers and hotdogs with paul lazar
cooking eggs in the mornings and old man vaughns wife barbara helping with the
hot dog lunchs.5 coachs all parked kinda in a circle with lots of laughs and
some good wine from pauls wine celler to make things even better! we made a road
trip to a junkyard where we were amazed at how much stuff one guy could put on
16 acres in 52 years and later a trip to all the pawn shops in the area too. we
will do this all again next month, randy
