FC Dog House Removal
I ran across a copy of BB's procedure for removing the dog house enclosure
around the 3208.
This procedure is close, but not perfect in every detail, depending on what year
FC you have.
It can save you, or your mechanic, some time when you're preparing for valve
adjustment or
other work on top of the engine. You can find the procedure in the Files
section of the
forum.

Eric I agree It's helpfull, check this out. I have been cleaning out the bus I
just bought, doing a little at a time then I go on to something else. After 3 or
so weeks I have the switches down pat.lol. Anyway Last night I was cleaning out
the last compartment, the closet with the central vac, and I found this blue box
that said "Bluebird" on it. When I bought the bus, I was handed a Vinyl covered
looseleaf notebook that said "Wonderlodge", and I was happy to get that. I
opened up the box, and there was what I think of as the "Mother Load" (well
maybe I haven't got into the safe yet I found the combo, and I just know the key
is hidden in here someplace.lol).I found the Bluebird notebook The genset
operating manual and service book, a handbook on every appliance, along with
updates and the dates they were done. 4 Cat handbook, one's a parts book,
Complete service books for the brakes, Motorola alt, Central
Vac,Hydrapowersteering gear,Tv antena,HWH leveling system, 3
handbooks on Allison trans, I also found a Wanderlodge directory from 1996 and
a Wonderlodge quick reference parts catalog.I also have a seperate yellow
handbook, it's an operators maunal for a Bluebird FC. There's a sheet here that
may be the same one you have too, maybe they were Issued with every bus, sure. I
also got about 30 or 40 blown up detailed blueprints that I think someone had
made up these are about 3'x5' rolled up in a cardboard tube. As soon as the
smoke clears, and I find some time I'll find a way to copy these and make all
this information available In the mean time if anyone has a question on a
problem ask away, and I'll look it up.To me, there would have to be a lot of
money in that safe to outweigh this score.lol
