Transfer Switch Wiring Diagrams and EMS location choice
Transfer Switch Wiring Diagrams and EMS location decision:

Mine is wired like figure B.

In this setup, the invertor feeds all circuit breakers. If yours
only feeds select circuits, then you are likely wired like figure C.

This may help in determing where to install your EMS.

Yes fig C would appear to be the case. My inverter only feeds certain
circuit breakers. For example it does not feed power to engine preheat or
the water heater
