Hi Everybody,
First, I want to thank everyone at the rally for inviting Stella and
myself to the festivities and to tour all their coaches... Stella and
myself had a great time with such a wonderful group of people... I am
sorry that I missed the snow cones... But, really enjoyed the bagels
and lox for breakfast provibed by Lynn and Paul, super... Randy and
Carol provided the deep fried chickens, I am still looking forward to
the deep fried turkeys... Carol, Florida won the NCAA Championship
wasn't that great... Jay, thanks for letting us watch the finals on
your supurb entertainment center...
We had fun watching all the cars race... The only time I ever got that
close to a starting line was when I was a kid racing my car at an 1/8
of a mile drag strip on Long Island, NY...
Funny thing happen after we got home, Stella has a class to teach at
Stony Brook University on Long Island, NY... She had to be there on
Monday morning at 7:30AM... Well, when we got home at midnight, we did
not realize to turn the clocks ahead, well you probably guess we got
up an hour too late... Her Students were at the university hospital
waiting for Professor Stella to show up...
We also had a little scare as Stella went to the doctor with chest
pains and had to do a stess test... She is scheduled for a
catherterization on Monday...
Hope to see you all again soon... Randy, I will be in Florida at the
end of May, I will stop by...
Thanks again for all you do...
Rob, You missed a good time...

I will be heading down toward Myrtle Beach tomorrow, with an
overnight stop in Florence, SC to go to the candy store (chrome shop)
next to the Petro and then head on down to the beach on Thursday
morning. I will be staying at Pirateland until it is time to go up to
Maxton, for the mini rally and Hot Rod magazine sponsored LSR races
there, on March 29th.

If anybody else is staying over at MB and then going to Maxton, we
can all go up together if you want to and if you haven't already got
in touch with Barbara Vaughn, I'd suggest that you do so, so she can
make the plans for the food at Maxton.

If you are heading south, or north on I-95 near the North Carolina
and South Carolina state line, why not just make a westerly turn and
come on over to Maxton, it is only 21 miles from exit #14 in North
Carolina. You can't beat the price to get into the track, for $5.00
per person for the entire weekend, with free dry camping and a lot of
fast cars and motorcycle making their attempts to set or break World
Land Speed Records, on the Maxton Monster Mile.

We will be there between 1 - 3 pm, on Thursday March 29th to open up
the track and you can meet us at the Food Lion in Maxton, or if you
are Northbound we always stop at the Harbor Freight Warehouse at exit
190 on I-95 in Dillon, South Carolina, to meet up with the rest of
the crowd, before heading to the track, they have a huge parking area
there.

I had been trying to find a way to go to Maxton, but unfortunately both Judi and
I arrived home this week-end sick.

I wish you all a great time -- wish I could be there!!

Good luck Guy and hope the rat does well.
