Email Rules
There are a lot of reasons to log onto Wanderlodge Forum.

Suppose you have a slow internet connection, you want to forward
forum mail to another location, i.e., hand held or other, you
don't
want to log in, you don't want graphics, ads etc, and maybe you
would like to make a hard copy of information you gain from this
site, or, save it to a specified folder on your computer. Or, maybe
your inbox is become a mess mixed with personal and forum mail.

These things can be done by using message rules on your email
program. First of course you would have to select the option to
receive mail from this forum.

Create a folder in local folders named Forum; I created another
called Saved Bird Mail.

Then in Outlook Express go to Tools, Message Rules, click on Mail. A
window will open requiring input, click on new. Here you will see,
Action, Condition, and, Rule. Under Action, Check the box that
says, " When the Subject line contains specific words". When
checked
the rule box (3) will show underlined contains specific words ,
point to and click on that, enter WanderlodgeForum.

Next is the action you want. In item (2) select Move to specified
folder. This condition will be added to box (3) with the underlined
word specified. Point to and click on specified then indicate that
you want it moved to Forum. Along the way you will need to click add
and OK.

You can now open the forum folder and very quickly go through the
day's forum mail. If you want to save a message, meeting,
something
that you want to keep right click on the message then highlight and
click on the move to folder.

If you want a hard copy you can print and but it in a 3 ring binder
for future reference.

There are other email programs that may have similar features
however I am not familiar with there.
