I must be missing something here. I cannot find in any of the posted
messages the dates for the Rally in the Valley. Can somebody please
give me the dates? My wife and I were not interested at all until we
found out there is an alternative to the exhorbitant price being
charged by Bluebird.

We are finally weighing in on this thread! Last year, we enjoyed the
pre and post rallies far more than the actual RIV. We will be across
the street, not paying almost $500 for a few meals and am & pm snacks.
Did we ever figure out if we can do the pre rally? Visit the vendor
hall? Betsy and George 83fc33

Ernie, we are having 600 tons of crushed concrete hauled in to start
building our road. See you and Brenda in Weatherford sometime.

I usually find it useful to sit on the sidelines and just observe.

Having done so; I observe that there is a lot of "pour mouthin" going on
from a lot of people about the rally cost.

If you can't afford to go; do you really want to broadcast that fact?

If you can afford to go, then does it serve any useful personal purpose to
moan about the price that you know you can afford?

I'm not out to kick anyone's shins; but seems to this ole Texan that you
should either "gee or haw" and then consider plowing the row without cussin the
mule.

Nuff Said; maybe even too much.

I think all the fuss about the cost of RIV has been on another
Wanderlodge site.

there are officialy 146 coaches registered for RIV
and only about 20 vendors very quiet But I really dont think that this
has this has any effect on Mr Collier's current employment he seemed
in rather good spirits when I talked to him today.
There have been some rumors started that`the people at Fair harbour
RV PARK were actually going to picket the RIV. WHAT A LOAD OF HOG WASH
IT has been a nice time at Fair Harbour.
Aside from other comments our first Riv in 1999 485 coaches 2000 385
2001 350 2005 146 seems like pricing may be an issue
Although the parking commitee is extremely well staffed to prevent any
traffic jams hehehe They were courteous enough to show us and keep us
parked in the back of the parking lot a good time was had by all at
the back of the pack
Rats starts wednesady welcome everyone

Why do I perceive GLEE from the "Rats" postings over a lesser turnout at the
RIV? Seems a bit ugly to me.
