Info on Freeze Heaters

Since my freeze heaters burned a hole in a water pipe and caused a
flood I have been trying to determine why it happened. While cutting,
pulling and removing most of the wiring, I found a factory part number
tag and a specific warning. The warning stated, "do not overlap or
touch together, fire hazard, and do not over insulate." The area where
my problem occurred had three wires in the same area. Apparantly, over
time coach movement allowed the wires to touch together causing the
problem. FWIW.
