Rally in our "own Valley

Rally in our "own Valley
I just got back from 2 weeks out of town, and have been reading the messages
about the RIV. We've talked of going. we enjoyed the Rally after the Rally
last year, and hoped to do that also.

I think having a competing rally across the street at the same time as the
RIV is a bad idea. What purpose would it serve to alienate the people who have
been such a support to us, by phone and otherwise? The Birdnest has been a
benefit to a lot of people too. That's certainly a value!

Hope you'll re-think this. At least, the timing of the private rally.
As someone has already said, there's no incentive for Bluebird to give (or
sell) day passes to those who are competing....

(if there are 100 coaches, where are 200 people going to meet if there's
rain?)

I agree why not have the rally start at the end of the RIV and possibly
attract other people from it?

Rally in our "own Valley
heres what i did,i sent in my registration to BB,all filled out, then i put a
note in stating that after attending 13 rivs in a row i have decided not to
attend this year because it has gotten too expensive, too bad, because we look
forward to it every year..i will attend the pre rally in the parking area,so
that i can see all my buddys.then its across the street to the campground.i
don't consider it a competing rally on my part.i have not been to a seminar in
years,i don't golf,i don't even really care for the dinners(i eat too much!) i'd
rather go out with my friends or have a pot luck or whatever. i go to visit my
friends..randydupree93wb

Kay, the rally across the freeway is not intended to compete with the Rally
in the Valley. Since receiving the invitation from Bluebird for this years
rally and noting the price has nearly doubled to $485.00, I came up with the
idea
of meeting at fair Harbor. Quite frankly, we cannot afford the rally fees, and
37 other folks that have signed up agree with me. There is a new clubhouse to
meet in, if the weather turns bad. Ernie-83PT40 in Texas

We have had 2 post RIV rallies. They were both a success. The dates for the
Fair Harbor get-together are the Fri before the RIV and the Wed after the RIV.
In case anyone is feeling really benevolent, please send a check to those of
us that can't afford the higher fees but would like to attend the RIV. Hope to
see everyone someplace in Perry , Ga come Oct Ernie -83PT40

Hello,
We joined this group shortly after it was formed and would
like to put faces to those who contribute with all your information.
That would be the main reason for going to Georgia.
Toms suggestion might be a good idea ?
The dates we are there are flexible, just a thought - smiling.
