Thank you to the "brain trust", the "bluebird has landed!
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank the entire community for
all the wonderful posts, valuable information and Idea's. I've been a
"lurker" for about a year now trying to decide what my wife and I
wanted to "retire" in. Based on all this team's collective efforts, we
settled on a bird (yes this community weighed big in the decision),now
which one!!! Yet more reading and posts, more time, yadaya!! Well 2
weeks ago we "stumbled" upon "our new home", a 1995 4203, right coach,
right price, right condition. Due to the all your efforts, I was able
to do a "proper inspection", create a "punch list", take delivery and
drive the "beast" home without incident, driving all the way though
rush-hour traffic in Orlando in the rain, fuel up at a Loves, truck
side with about 10 truckers in multiple lines, looking like I was a
pro not holding anyone up, if they only know!!!!!!! :-0. I must have
spent about 400 hour alone researching the data you all provided. So I
just wanted to say thank you! My wife and I have decided to "meet up"
with ya'll in "your own RIV" so we could meet with you, thank you, and
hopefully learn more about these wonderful machines. My wife and I are
looking forward to seeing everyone in Perry and making new Friends!!!!
PS yeah this damn just added 2/1/2 more years of working to my
retirement plan just to pay for the damn thing but I truly believe it
will be well worth it!!! 2 and counting just became 4-1/2 and counting!

Sincerely,
Pete & Donna Chin
95 4203- still trying to figure out which model! :-)

Pete,

Congrats on the new purchase. May all your miles be as successful as they have
started
out. The adventure has just begun!

Pete and Donna,
Welcome to the BB family. I did the same thing you did; looked
around, found this site and finally bought my bird. You won't be
sorry. And this group of people is just great. Any problem is only
an email away to being solved. The RIV is a good place to exchange
stories and info. I went to my first one last year and had a great
time. Looks like I will be joining the group across the highway and
being an interloper and the real rally. Hope they let us in. We had
good food and entertainment, but can figure out the increased cost.
Wish someone at BB would justify it to us. Anyway happy traveling.

Sidney,
Thank you for the "welcome", yes it will be cool to see all the faces
of the people I have been reading from! Looking forward to meeting you
and the others, hopefully I will have a few "newbie" stories to tell
..... I can see it already the first time we "hookup" ought to be an
"trip" .. hmmm hookup, make mess, take shower, forget valve make
bigger mess!!! the process right!! :-) Actually the dealer we
"purchased" from invited us to a stay at his campground in their main
offce and told us the techs will "help us out", so it's off the
campground for our hookup experience!!! We were at his smaller
location so we could not check that part out. Now if I could only
figure out how to win the lottery and retire early, work is getting in
the way of my ability to "have fun"! taKe care!
