Yanmar generator fuel usage
Anyone know what to expect on an hourly fuem usage from the Yanmar (PT)
generator?

Yammar and Perkins are very similar engines. both have aprox the same
displacement and run at 1800 rpm's so the usage will be very close to what
the Perkins is.

Yanmar generator fuel usage
From memory, I think the book says 1.2 GPH @ full load, .7 GPH at 50% load
(or something very close to that...). It's in your owners manual, if you have
one. If you really have a "need to know", I'll go pull the manual for
you....

I have the numbers for the Power tech 10 KW in my coach -- which may
be close to your usage.
25% load - .256 gal hr
50% load - .412 gal hr
75% load - .912 gal hr
100% load - 1.00 gal hr

Yanmar generator fuel usage
The 15 kw PowerTech generator in my coach uses about 1/2 to 3/4
gallon per hour depending on load (rated up to 1 gpm at 100% load).
So, yes, they're mostly pretty efficient.
