After removing that pump last week, we drove to Billings to pick it up.
The company cleaned her up so good, I didn't recognize it.
Today, we installed it. We have been told that it must be aligned
exactly the way it came out. Well, after looking at the spline inside
the engine and the receiving end inside the pump, there is only one way
to install it because it has a key that the pump fits over. You can't
install it any other way. Whew- I knew we were going to get it outta
time. After priming and priming with both hands, Bim would spell me and
prime with both of his hands. We cracked the injectors and finally
after many attempts at starting we moved the actuator arm. Fired right
up and we are back in business with NO LEAKS!!! What a feeling of
relief! Ernie- 83PT40 in Montana, now I can take the coach somewhere
and have a/c running

Good news Ernie. Glad they did a good rebuild job for you. I had heard
good things about them from the shop I use for my Ford diesel stuff.
Now you & Bim should take a box wine break & plan a trip down the valley.
