This week's Bird of the Week
Hi Julian,

Right off the top of my head, I believe you have given me some mutually exclusive requirements with the "preferably tag axle" requirement. However, a Cummins in the BMC 37' or in the M380 models seem to fit your basic parameters of Cummins and equal to or less than 38'. No tag axles with Cummins that I can think of off hand.

Mike ..................can you tell me which BIRD had the shortest length with the Cummins and preferably with a tag axle. Here in California the state park length limits are usually a maximum of 38 feet..................thanks....Julian

While I personally think all Birds are rare, for new members (or old) trying to learn about Birds, this week's front page Bird of the Week is a relatively rare 1997 40' BMC. I say relatively rare since BMC's were only produced from 1994 - 1997 and 40' versions were only available in 96 and 97. You will not see many of these in your travels. Their four year production run was matched by the SP (1989-1992), one of which was also shown as last week's Bird of the Week. Visually, at first glance this week's Bird resembles most of the WB versions.

To see a broad sampling of prior Birds of the Week, go to the Photos section of WanderlodgeForum and look in the Bird of the Week Archive which currently has 380-some photos.

If you would like to see your Bird as Bird of the Week, especially if you are currently in a scenic location, please send in a photo with your names, year/model and any pertinent location information.

Thanks,
