"Remote" cruise-air control?

Ryan,
Just the other day my son and I were remembering how cold the cruise airs were
in our 84FC. Your coach is not nearly as well insulated as most homes..and
subject to a lot of heat. I imagine having the fans continue to run on slow is
probably a good idea..keeping not only the moisture down..but keeping the
surfaces inside your coach reasonably cool. That's what takes so long to cool
down.
Anyone know why the price of batteries (lead?) has gone out of sight? The cheap
no-name brand AGM's for my coach batteries are up $219.00 in just four months.

Has anyone replaced or modified the cruise-air controls to work with a"normal"
thermostat? I've not pulled a control unit off the wall yet,but I'm assuming
it's not a standard HVAC wiring...I left for work this morning and, since it was
cold outside, forgot toturn on one of my air conditioners. So I get home and
it's 100 degreesin the bus. *grumble* .. I know I can turn the cruise-airs on
andadjust the temperature dial accordingly, but the silly fans runconstantly.
Sure wish there was a way to cycle the fans on & offautomatically in response to
temperature changes like the HVAC in mystick-built home. Anyone know?-Ryan'86
