In praise of refrigerator fans

Speaking of fans that go in the refrigerator, not ones in the external guts.

Our refrigerator had no problem getting cold, it just was highly uneven. Apples
in the bottom were getting frozen, milk at the top was at best cool, and prone
to souring.

Up in Cheyenne a few days ago we sought out an RV parts place and bought a
FridgeCOOL fan. This is a little cube that uses 2 D-Cells with a claimed life of
30 days, and mildly (very mildly) circulates the air in the refrigerator. I had
no room at the bottom, so I put it in the bottom shelf of the door. Within 12
hours the milk was icy-cold (but not icy!) and the apples were likewise.
Everything uniform, according to what we choose for a setting.

Best $17 I've spent on this trip so far, for sure!
