Long generator hoses

Where is a good place to get the long generator coolant hoses? Can I
just take the old one to a parts shop and match the length, or does it
require something special?

When I changed mine out I purchased the best NAPA had and installed them. I also
had the radiator tested, checked the auto shutdown function and changed the
senders at the same time.
