Unhappy with Modern Maid LP Stove top!!
Howdy, Forum Family.

Our 1993 house-on-wheels has a 2 burner LP Modern Maid stove that I am
really unhappy with. I can't get the flame low enough to simmer
anything. After almost burning a big pot of chili today, I have reached
the limit of my patience. [X-(] In my previous motorhome(a Safari
Serengeti) I had a Gaggeneau stove that was wonderful. It had a REAL
simmer setting.

Has anyone replaced the stove in their Bird? If you have, please write
and let us know about what all was involved. Oh yes, and which brand of
stove was the replacement.

Thanks,
Disgrunted Liz [X-(] [X-(]

Liz: Why don't you have an LP Gas service man adjust the burners
rather than buying a new one. All the applicances need service from
time to time.

Ralph did that last year. The stove has other problems which I have
not mentioned. Thanks for writing. How was Schulenburg?
