Unhappy with Modern Maid LP Stove top!!
Howdy, Forum Family.
Our 1993 house-on-wheels has a 2 burner LP Modern Maid stove that I am really unhappy with. I can't get the flame low enough to simmer anything. After almost burning a big pot of chili today, I have reached the limit of my patience. [X-(] In my previous motorhome(a Safari Serengeti) I had a Gaggeneau stove that was wonderful. It had a REAL simmer setting. Has anyone replaced the stove in their Bird? If you have, please write and let us know about what all was involved. Oh yes, and which brand of stove was the replacement. Thanks, Disgrunted Liz [X-(] [X-(] Regards, Jack and Liz Pearce Fulltiming in a 1993 Wanderlodge WB40 Might snow tonight in Buena Vista, CO [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

Liz: Why don't you have an LP Gas service man adjust the burners
rather than buying a new one. All the applicances need service from time to time. R.E.
