Auto Start Problems was Dry Camping
You guys probably know this already but just in case: The "Gen-Con"
control board that came with many BB's with auto start generators can
be used to start the generator either for a "NO AC" condition or for
a "LOW AC/LOW DC condition. The sensors on the board came set for about
100 VAC and <11.5VDC (approximately).

The sensor depends upon the output of a Radio Shack power
transformer/power supply. The unit called for has a "linear output"
meaning that the DC output falls with the AC input. Some installations
by Blue Bird used a different power transformer/power supply that
provides a constant 12VDC (nominal) output regardless of AC
fluctuations. This defeats the auto start feature.

For more information and or parts or recalibration go to Westhaver
Associates website. They are great folks and are willing to help.

Their site has diagrams and connection information too. My Gen-Con unit
is located in the front roadside bay bolted to the "ceiling" in an
aluminum case.
