Robert, did you originally purchase that coach from Jay Gober in Graham, Tx?

Hi Robert, If the coach has a light colored upholstery, yes, it is indeed
the coach we tried to buy- but could not sell the SOB that we had and Jay didn't
want to take a trade. Don't blame him, though. Nice coach.

1983 Wanderlodge - Must sell ASAP
Hello to all....We are in Maryland visiting family now and our good
friend really has to sell his 1983 Wanderlodge - the quicker the
better. We are going to go look at it tomorrow and take some pictures
of it in case anyone is interested. He lives in Arlington, Virginia
and the bus is at his house. We used to own this one a few years back
and sold it to our friend about 4 years ago. We purchased it in Texas
about 5 years ago and it had been re-carpeted and upholstered before we
purchased it. Not quite sure how it looks now, but will have a better
idea after we see it tomorrow. He has been driving it around a bit, so
it seems to be in good mechanical condition. The refridgerator needs
to be replaced - had that amonia smell. If anyone is interested please
email us and let us know and we will try and get all the details.
Thanks so much. It has not much over 100 k miles and is the 3208 turbo.
Happy holidays to everyone!

1983 Wanderlodge - Must sell ASAP
Hello to all and hope that everyone has been enjoying the
holidays!!!

We went to look at the 83 Wanderlodge yesterday. I have taken some
pictures and am going to see if my mom's computer will let me upload
them - she only has dial upSad SO, if anyone is interested, please
email us and I will try to get pictures out....It definatley could
use a good cleaning inside and out. There are some spots on the
carpet and the sofa looks dingy (both are light colors) but a good
steam cleaning may get the job done.....The refridgerator needs
replacing as I had mentioned earlier....there is a small water leak
under the bed area - I will get more details on this....the generator
will start but does not stay running - he seems to think it may be a
selenoid, but has not had tome to diagnose or fix it yet...also, the
screen on the door has some tears in it...

He would like to get $25k out of and hopes that it will sell pretty
quickly at this price.....Mechanically it seems to be sound and he
drove it as recently as last week with no problems. I know that a
few years back it had a new microwave and other electrical items
replaed at Coachworks in Columbus Ga....I will research it to see
what all was done.

Hope this helps. Any questions can be emailed to us and we will try
and get answers as quickly as possible!

Thanks for your time!

As a Wannabee I really appreciate the effort you have put into
checking out this bird! What length and color scheme is it?

Thanks,
Steve

Steve, the interior, as I remember, has off white, fabric with a small print
to it. Outside is the 80's brown and gold

Thanks Ernie, I will presume it is 35ft, by 1983 most of the
production was. From the
mid-70's to the mid-80's that brown/bronze,cream/gold color scheme
absolutely defined "WanderLodge" and must have been 2/3 of production!
Now it seems to devalue a Bird the cost of a paint job!

Yes, it is the typical outside scheme with the tan and brown....The
inside was redone with light carpet, the sofa is an off white, the
driver's and captain chairs are that orangy brown and the 2 club
chairs are a blue and cream floral. The dinette booth is a plaid
with blues and greens. I hope to get the pictures up tonight and can
email them to anyone who would like them or maybe post them - are we
allowed to do that?

Thanks, Teri

Absolutely post them. You can build an albumn in the Photos
sections, load the pics and them announce the name of the albumn so
people can find it.
