New Mattress
I have alwys replaced the mattreses in any used RV we have purchased.
But our units have all been mid doors. Is it possible to get a mattress
through the front entry door of a 95 to 98 Wide body or LXI ?

Thanks

A mattress will bend, so it should present only a modest challenge. Box springs, however, might be another matter.

I simply got a 4" mattress topper (space foam type) for the OEM mattress. It came compressed and rolled up (easy to handle). It's quite comfortable.

Consider an air mattress. We have had our Select Comfort in the bird
for 5 years now. Love it. Comes in a box so no problem getting in the
front door.

Bruce, Bob,

We have had a Select Comfort mattress in our home for 10 years. I used to advertise for them.I would recommend the wired remotes instead of wireless..fewer batteries to buy. The materials and design are basically the same from the bottom of the line to the top. An air pump inflates or deflates a sealed bladder under each side of the bed depending on the firmness you want. We also have a heated mattress pad we use with it on cold nights. The main difference is the amount of paddingon top.If you want to save money, buy the cheapest or next-to-cheapest model and try it. You can tradeup in 30 days or buy more padding for it.
