Unfortunately, Ron's optimism based on my "in" with the Blazing Star RV park
management was not justified. It's a
nice park, but they've raised their rates to $40/night and now demand an advance
deposit of 50% for all reserved
spaces in order to book a rally. Last year all it took was $100! Fortunately,
these guys are not the only good choice
in the San Antonio area.

The April Rally will be held at the Alamo Fiesta RV Park in Boerne Texas. Their
rally rate for two people is
$24/night and they will charge the same rate for rally members for 3 days before
and after the rally. Their website

them to hold 20 sites for rigs from
35 to 45 foot with 50 amp service for us. We can probably get more spaces with
enough advance notice.

Boerne Texas is one of the old historic hill country towns located just North of
San Antonio. There's a lot to see and
do in this area. If we get any kind of decent rain between now and then, the
Bluebonnets should be putting on a
good show as well.
