Non functioning outside light.

The large amber outside light on the right side does not work.
Either I have not found the switch for it, or it's burnt out.

My question is how do you open it up to check the bulb or bulbs.
There are no external screws. There are a couple of "buttons" on the end
caps but depressing those does nothing. I can't imagine you have break
it to get in.

Hi Art:

The power for that light comes from the load center near the tv switching
overhead compartment. The wire is grey with the number 9 and should be
attached to cb 20. To remove the out side lens, simply squeeze it and pop
it out of the groves. Be sure to check the screws that hold the fixture to
the Coach, that is your ground and may be faulty.

Art, Im not sure where your inside light switch is located but it is
most likely the switch on the fixture itself. At the rally Bill Pape
opened up my fixture and bypassed the switch on the fixture. I just
flip the switch on the inside of the coach and it works great. Your
switch is most likely inside the door or in the step well someplace.

Art,

Those end buttons cover the screws and make for a water tight fitting. I had bad bulbs in the rear unit and a bad ballast in the forwardunit. Changed allbulbsI did not want to have to open it up again anytime soon.

Art is the right side the passangers side? on my 94pt the driverside
rear amber bug light is on a three way switch in the electric cord
hookup compartment. some times I have to switch on on then the other
off to get it shut off or on. I have not figured it out.
