Colorado Bound
Hey Fellow Birds!
Been silent in my corner of the world, knocking dirty, greasy stuff off the bottom of my bus right into my face...but now time to enjoy a family trip to Colorado. Got all them heater working now! Excites me and hope I get a chance to use a few of them. Anyway, it's to be 92 degrees today in South Texas. I hope there is still some snow on the ground to enjoy.
I appreciate all the help I have had from the forum through my two years of owner ship. My purchase anniversary is March 20th. I appreciate the luck anyone can pass my family on our trip.
Thanks you guys and God Bless!
Junction, Texas tonight and Lubbock tomorrow. Till then.

Greg,

You obviously know something about music. A majority of people have not
heard of Billy Preston. I play organ and piano and he is inspiration.
'Will it Go Round in Circles' is a great tune and inspired, I think, by the
'Circle of 5ths'. Great question to Dru and Debora, but Preston's tune is
"Gettin" with an "i". I planned to name my bus 'Tonewheels', based on the
tone generator of a Hammond organ.

Thanks!

LOL! I'm a structural engineer for a fabrication firm here in Corpus Christi. Bill Cochran, one of our suppentendant has his roots in Mississippi and when I ask him how things are going on the fab line he usually responds "steady gittin' it."
As I've had my love for two years, that's the one thing it does well..steady git it. It doesn't "git it fast" but it "gits it steady" and we always get there.
One of my favorite rides was coming out of South Padre back up US77 with everybody passing my steady speed of 57 1/2 MPH. When I got to the boarder check point, there all those fine people were...waiting in line. I got to thinking this is going to be fun because they are going to want to pick my old bus clean. ...theymotioned me right through, while they held up everyone else!
For the next 1 1/2 hours, I had all those fast guys passing me again. Ol' Steady got me home about the
same time as everybody else. Thanks for inquiring about her name. She wears it proud!
