Xantrex RV 3012 /2512M Inverter / Charger $$$$$CHEEP $$$$$
I checked the dims out and its an easy fit in the charger compartment...

As for dirty, the chargers lasted 20 years so I dont think thats an
issue... OTOH, its sure easier to put it in place of the Pace1500 as
all the wiring is there, so thats where I'd stick it :}
Having the old chargers as a backup is a good idea too.

One thing I notice looking at the manual for the RV3012 is on page 17
they caution about hooking the battery - term to the inverter instead
of chassis ground, Then on page 28 they show the - term hooked to
chassis ground... Whats the correct way to wire these??

Thanks, Joe

458) had already been upgraded when I got it. It is located where I
believe the old 1500 watt inverter was located - 3rd compartment back
on curb side, just to the rear of the propane tank compartment. This
compartment isn't vented to the outside and I was initially concerned
about this. However, lack of venting does not seem to be a problem.
