Any re-cored a PT 8v92 radiator?
What did it cost? ABout to have it done, mine is disintigrating.

I had mine done in March, recore was ~$2k and then the R&R was another
$500 or so.
That puppy is very heavy and copper is sold by the pound so YMMV.

Rates vary all over the country. In the expensive SF Bay Area, the labor to R&R the radiator ran nearly $3000. The core itself was $800. Since I have the DD Series 60, my labor and core may be quite different from a PT-38. Labor rates are high, here, as well. So, I'd consider this as a top-end estimate.
