The wirering for the thermostat uses the existing Snap Disk.

Can you recall if it is normally open or normally closed?

In the diagram the snap disk terminal is connected to the switch. I'm
guessing that the other terminal is to ground, and that the snap disk
is normally open. When it closes it grounds the relay setting off the
fan?

Or is it the other way around?

I have both types of snap disks on hand; they are both adjustable for
temp. A nice feature.

If you could tell me how to finish this installation off. The fans
are mounted, so is the control box and it's hot. The manual switches
work as designed, switches up to blow out and switch down to suck in
air, middle position is off. I just have to install the snap disk
thermostats and I'm done.

It will sucks or blows extremely well. I really like your design, I
thought I would have to choose between the two now I have both
options.

Also I didn't read this until after I built the control box," The two
switches can not be operated at the same time; one must always be in
the center position. The work around is to install Rectifiers
(diodes) in the 2 center leads on one switch. That would prevent
current from colliding and opening (tripping) the circuit breaker. I
need to get a couple rectifiers and install them,
But for now I just make sure that only one switch is active at a
time".

The 12v accessory plug works and I'm sure the automatic side will
function as designed as soon I figure out how and which snap disk
thermostat to use.

Also the two extra circuits I installed are hot and I will wire one
to some cooling fans for the inverters ASAP. The other is a spare for
future expansion.

The only part of the project that failed is the remote controlled
20amp relays. I installed an enclosed relay system with 8-20amp
remote controlled relays. I'm sure they are correctly installed but
when you hit the remote to activate a circuit, you can hear the
relays switching but there is no power to the wires. Need to do some
troubleshooting there.

I have the 200 amp battery relay installed, and all is working well.
House, Chassie batteries show 13.5 to 14 and the alternator is no
logger pegged out.

I'm not Curt but his and mine are the same and the snap disc is normally open. When it closes it sends ground to whatever is being controlled.
I have finished this same drill but wired it a little differently. I used one direction/off switch and operate switches up front on the upper dash and a switch in the engine room. Nothing happens if the 3-position switch is in the off position naturally. I used no diodes or rectifiers.
One thing I notice after engine shutdown is that when the air is in the IN direction, the fans cycle several times before they stop for good. That is reasonable as in theOUT direction the fans are drawing heat from the radiator as well. But, they don't cycle nearly as much if at all. I seem to favor the IN direction for less battery drain and quicker cooling of the above engine area.

Just got back to home base. The Snap Disk is normally open.
