Thanks Ernie for the heads up, I found that very interesting. Nicely
written piece. No sugar coating. I admire the ladies and am at
least on some level a little jealous. Takes guts to do it plus
strength and determination.

Steve, If you need any $5000 hoses I'll make you at deal. Two for
the price of one. Would you suspect that the radiator was thrown in
free at that price? I wouldn't be surprised if it was $5000 to R&R
the cooling system in a pusher. My FC is going in for some
suspension work and I feel the pain in the left hip already. These
things ain't cheap.

John,
I imagine it was the radiator.. Maybe a typo..
I just got Goodtimes back yesterday after spending 1 night in a local Motel 6 for Maint work being done!
Glad to have the bus back!!! I would recommend this fellow for any Birders' out there who happen to be in the Tampa area lookin for repair work. He used to work at a Bird' dealership.. knows Birds WELL.
Got 2 new steer tires, and swapped the older steers to the tag..
Headed to Certified Spring and frame Monday in Tampa for front end work/ alignment. Then she should be ready tohead to the mountains!!

Stephen,
I don't see where you mentioned the name of the shop you are recommending.
Did I miss something?

Gary,
Oppps! I guess that would be helpful! The shop is Tampa Mobile Repair on 7th Ave Tampa. Owners-Ray and wife Cheryl. They mostly do chassis work- airbags(and air leaks!), brakes, ect.
The Gentleman who did the BB specialty work was Ben. The shop calls him in on a "as-needed" basis. Just so happens, he used to work on Wanderlodgesat a dealer 'back in the day'.. He was a godsend to us.
Its not everyday that someone is familiar with an old 'bird. I had a small air leak at the step.. he got the parts locally, and rebuilt the system. If you need a good honest guy in TampaBay area, call him at 813-294-7770.
I will report next week on my steering/front end repairs!
