Real cheap Buy it Now. That coach has the side aisle. I have seen a few coaches with that setup. Steve and Pat's "Jus Chillin" has that feature. Coach looks clean. Gen hours are high.

That a PT-40 or a 38? It's not a "39.5" ... Very interesting coach!
Not sure about the kitchen/hallway thing there, never seen that one
before, I like it and at the same time I don't. I also didn't realize
'92s came with all that fancy lighting inside. If I were in the market
I'd want to check this baby out, though. Buy It Now price seems
reasonable.

In 1992, the only offerings were a 96" wide SP-36 and a wide body
(102") PT-40. I'd suspect that the seller isn't familiar with 'birds.
Probably just measured it and came up with 39' 6", since BB never
quite matched the length with the model descriptions. For example, my
"42 ft." actually measures 42' 6". The '97 43 ft. actually measures
42' 6" -- so the difference is "rounding"... there was no actual
change to the length of the coach.

Looking at it, the coach being offered is pretty close to my coach
(but there are a few differences -- no AquaHot, for example). It does
have both a Microphor (pancake) compressor _and_ an auxiliary
compressor. The interior looks pretty clean (but photos sometimes
lie). The $68,500 'buy it now' price is actually pretty aggressive --
but considering the market, it might be a good buy.

I also note that the specs on Vintage Birds shows that a '92 wide
body had a 500 hp DD 8v92TAC with DDEC II engine. So that's another
lack of knowledge glitch that's showing.

The 'bird also has a pretty fair number of miles -- nearly 200,000 --
not excessive for the vintage, but quite a few more than many 'birds
have. (Generator has a pretty high number of hours --- but that might
actually be good.)

A few of the features seem to be missing (BBQ, Washer/dryer, tool
box), but other than that, it does look rather good. Relatively new
refrigerator is a definite plus, since it requires removing a window
to get one inside. Might be a rather nice coach for someone!

Nice conservative paint and interior :-) I don't think the printed
couch or the hard wood floors go with the rest of the interior. I
studied that one for a while before I could figure out what I didn't
like. I'm a wild and crazy guy but not as wild as I used to be so I
think for my money I'll pass on that one. If the paint was just a
little toned down and a couple things changed in the interior it would
be a lot more tempting for me.

I like it, the only way a bird flys for 200,000 miles is thru
maintainance, for the $'S - 10% I think it's a good deal,but as Pete
mentioned photos are not allways a great way to decide on condition.

My WB-40 manual says it is 39'8". If you look at the coach closely what is screwing you up is the windows. It has three windows instead of one behind the pilot and co pilot. Those windows have sliders on the bottom. There is one 90 out there with the same window configuration I have seen.
Looking closely at it, the configuration of the interior excluding the side isle looks a lot like a Royale Conversion. I do not believe Royale did a BB in 92 but who knows. Things like front cabinets, dash panels, placement of the controls for the jacks and inverter, rope lighting, front valance, indirect lighting, mini spots etc. Mine has all of that from the factory. This could have been a special order and a high dollar coach.
Granite floors also.

That's what I was noticing, Leroy. I looked at a few early nineties
coaches when I was looking for my Bird and didn't remember seeing all
of that fancy lighting, one of the main reasons I decided to post it
here. Like I said, if I were in the market, I'd definitely check this
one out. It's got character. Smile

I imagine the wood floor has been added along the way. it seems out of place. The rest looks stock from whom ever converted it. BB might, and I say might be able to track it back by the Body number. My understanding is the Royale Option was available in 89-90 and 91. Most were in 89-90 and there are very few. Every interior Royale option I have seen (3) including mine are either Oak or Walnut. BB also offered what was call New Dimension interior(I have promotional material in 1990 for this option, never seen one ) for supposedly no extra cost. You know how that goes. Increase the price and you get two for one.
I suspicion this particular coach is a hell of a buy and very unique one of a kind..
I have never figured out the window configuration; this is only the second one I have seen in photo's. I like that window config.
