RITV 2008

With all of the commnets on the RITV at Branson you would have
thought that there was nothing going on there. I don't profess to be
the oldest Birder in the group far from it, or have the experience of
many past years of Blue Bird Rallies but for us we had a great time
in Branson. Was it organized as in the past? No. Did it have the same
type programs with vendors and presentations by Vendors? No. Were we
wined and dined with entertainment every night? No. Is there any
program or Marketing activity with any company that is striving to be
sucessful still in place from prior years? maybe. Being new owners
and bearing unknown expenses is a tuff job on a new Compnay and
sacrifices are made. By next year GM and Ford won't be the same.
Branson was different from 2007 but my family had a great time and
met some terrific new friends and enjoyed the Branson area. We made
the best of what was offered for 5 days. The group was having fun at
all of the venues that were offered in Food, Shows, and the meetings
that were going on during the day at this engine compartments,
toolboxes, cocktail parties, and "tellin Stories" in the middle of
the roads. LIke I said we had a great time. If you miss the point
look back to 3 or 5 years ago and today or before you retired and
today and tell me all is the same. Wanderlodge will keep changing and
we should hope for the best in the change for the company.
