Houston area RV park
I will be in the south Houston/League City area next week. I have
stayed at the Space Center RV Park right on I45. There is a new park
south of Space Center on the same side of I45. I can't remember the
name of it but it looked very nice. Can anyone tell me the name of
this park. I have not located it with any of the usual searches,
Thanks, Mike McMahan 96 42' Wanderlodge

Here is a link to the best rv park review site. I intended to post
earlier

http://www.rvparkreviews.com/

note that they list about 4 reviews then have a link to older
comments from rvers. the best way to qualify validity is look at the
reviews of parks you are familiar with. You can even checkout the
previous reviews of the review authors. that will give you a feel of
their criteria. some only post when pissed and some post when happy.

Mike, Lakeside was not a bad suggestion, if it is the one I am thinking
of (just outside 610 on Hwy 90 Main St?). But if that is the one, I
checked there the other day and they are booked up, mainly do to the
Houston Rodeo coming up. I will be bringing my new-to-me coach from
Randy's in Florida this coming weekend, and I reserved a slot at
Lochness RV Park. It is a real small one well north of the city, north
of Conroe, TX on Lake Conroe. I think it's address is listed as being
in Willis, TX.

Mike, in a 2009 TX Assoc of Campground Owners booklet I picked up, it
doesn't even show the Space Center park you mention, so I don't know
how good this booklet is. I have not picked up a Woodalls yet. But it
shows a couple of others located along I-45 outside the Beltway 8
loop. One is Bay Colony and one is Palms RV Park, both listed as
located in Dickinson, TX

Rick, Thanks for the reply. The place I was thinking of was the
Oasis RV Resort. Since Ike has turned into Ron Hoover Boats. Since
I am going to a meeting Saturday at lunch on the south west side of
Houston I went ahead and made a reservation at Space Center. Alittle
too close to I45, Tighter spaces than I like but nice people and
always clean. Hope you enjoy your coach. MIke McMahan 96 42
