Ernie & Ralph work
We are waking up this morning at Casa Ekberg. Sure is pretty looking at a total
of four Birds here. Ours, and those of the Three Birdcateers; Ernie, Ralph, and
Bim. Ernie finished installing new carpet in our coach. What a great job! We
love it. Pics are in the files under our folder. More to come shortly if I can
get the computer to warm up. And Brenda's chicken & dumplings were absolutely
super! Ralph completed a long list of repair items for us. What thorough work
he does. Fantastic. His better-half Charlotte smiles as much as Marilyn does.
And all work done with the super help of Bim Bert. These boys know and love
Birds. Nice folks here, hospitality as warm as it gets. Thanks so much guys.

Glad to hear you were satisfied with the teams work. All have done work for me
and I have never had a complaint. They are a great team.

Ernie just finished a 3.5 week stint working with me at my home. We painted,
changed electrical devices, changed hardware, re-hung bi-fold doors and HE
carpeted the bedroom wing. Ernie not only does good work, but he is steady and
dependable.

Rick: The photos look great. I've had carpet installed in my home that doesn't
look that good. I have contacted Ernie about installing new carpet in this
summer. What type and brand carpet did you select?

Tommy, it was a remnant, and have no clue on the brand. From what Ernie said itwas probably about as short of nap ascould be worked with in a coach, due to all theexposed bended corners. If I understand it correctly, if the nap is tooshort, like a berber or something that shows the backing too much when bending it, then it won't work as well. Isimply ran out of time when looking; liked the particular remnant good enough; it was just the right size; and the price ($40) was 1/4 or less of what I figured it would cost. So the decision on that one was not very scientific.

I looked at your pics. Very nice job. Umm, do you have a sofa behind the driver's chair in your coach? If so, does the carpeting under the sofa go all the way to the wall?

TIA,
Liz

The carpet extends to the Primus runs along the wall.

Liz, we do have a couch on the street side. However, that salon area in our
coach has wood flooring. There is a strip of carpet behing the couch along the
wall surrounding the heat runs.
