Ernie I have a carpet question
Ernie,
I can't keep the carpet on the steering column and the area around it,especially the a/c registers on each side of the steering column. What do you recommend to keep the carpet from falling down. I've tried Velcro, and double faced carpet tape, it only held for a few days, the Velcro lasted about a year. Any help is appreciated. Kurt Horvath 95 PT 42 10AC |

Ernie I have a carpet question
Thanks Ernie,
I was trying to avoid glueing to down permanant but it it's the best way to do it then contact cement it is. Thanks, Kurt Horvath 95 PT 42 10AC PS: If you saw the news today, 5 Murdered in Southern Tennessee, that was in my home town Fayetteville, it's a sad day around here. Go figure, some people are just messed up beyond help. --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, Ernie Ekberg > > Kurt, go to hardware store and get a quart of contact cement. With a paint brush coat the back of the carpet and its opposing area and let them dry to the touch. In fact, you can do that in the afternoon and come back in am and press the carpet where it originally came from. > > > Ernie Ekberg > 83PT40 > Wanderlodge > Weatherford, Tx 817-475-3991 > http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/erni...gandrepair > > --- On Fri, 7/17/09, Kurt Horvath > > > From: Kurt Horvath > Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] Ernie I have a carpet question > To: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com > Date: Friday, July 17, 2009, 11:15 PM > > > > > > > Ernie, > > I can't keep the carpet on the steering column and the area around it,especially the a/c registers on each side of the steering column.
