SOUTHWEST BLUEBIRDS and friends: Quartzsite Rally update: Two surveys.

Hi all,

We have over 60 sign ups for our "ANNUAL BLUEBIRD QUARTZSITE RALLY" in January,
2010.

If history repeats itself, we'll have a surge of sign ups between now and
January, so we're looking at a record attendance, and one heck of a party.

RESPOND TO OUR SURVEYS:


We're doing surveys to gauge interest in two new rallies we're working on for
next year: the 2010 EAA/Oshkosh Fly-In, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin; and the 2010
Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Shane Fedeli gave us a lot of information he learned from his attendance at
Oshkosh this year. He'll be helping us plan for our 2010 Rally, and will be
doing his BBQ magic for us.

The Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta rally will be a combined effort by SWBB and the
Lone Star Birds in Texas. Rick Archie is attending this year's event and will
be giving us an "eye on the ground" report so we can start making plans.

Right now, we're only taking names for both Oshkosh and Albuquerque.
Currently, we have about 25 names on each list.
