WIndows, Leaks and Condensation -- tons of condensation in our case
Hello All,

We are living in a forest RV Park right now. It is wetter here than even at the
Ocean sites. We tried a lot of things to combat the condensation and finally
bought a SoleusAir dehumidifier. It cleared the coach in 30 hours. (we don't
have a leaking problem, only condensation to the highest degree). Just the
skylight itself was so wet that it dripped constantly. But it was so obviously
condensation and not any leaking.

We had been fighting a loosing battle with the HEAVY condensation each day,
several times per day. We would get quarts of water off the windows. The walls
were moist, it was not a good thing, let me tell ya! I can't believe we had
this issue more here than other areas. When it rains here (Santa Cruz, CA
mountains), the condensation goes down -- CRAZY. Outside is actually DRIER that
just a normal winter/fall day here. Some kind of dew point science I am sure...

But now our windows, skylight and coach are bone DRY. Best investment yet and
the SoleusAir is VERY quiet and compact. It also has a moveable venting that
allows us to shoot the dry air up (or towards) and dry towels and clothing fast!
Great purchase.

And now we face redoing some of the wood around the windows ourselves! Hey,
live and learn. I hope this tip will help others!

hugs,

Light
