Dallas/Ft Worth RV park recommendation?
I know the Super Bowl will be held at the new football stadium in Arlington next year. They have built so many motels in our area to jandle the crowds, its unbelieveable

Thanks, Ernie. If you were home we would probably take you up on that, but since you aren't I think we won't head west there.

Grand Prairie does look pretty convenient. So-so reviews, but typical for anything close to a metro area. Wonder if Texas being in the playoffs will affect campground fill rates?

Don, I have confirmed it is Jellystone. How about Vinyards RV park in Grapevine. It is on Grapevine Lake and is secluded, yet it is5 minutes to shopping and great resturants and Bass Pro shop. Easy access from loop 820 or Texas 114 which runs off of 35 south of Denton. Good camping.

Hmm. According to the reviews, RV Ranch has become a Jellystone park and renamed Rustic Creek Ranch. Reviews indicate good for kids, but not so good for those without. Anybody have comments on this?

Don: I agree with Wallace. The Vinyard is fine. It used to be a Corps of
Engineers park. How long are you going to be around Dallas?

Yes, the Vineyards look good. We are booked in there for the nights of the
19th-21st.

We had planned to stay 4 nights, but they are booked solid for Friday the 22nd.
I don't know if that is normal weekend stuff, or if it is pushed by the
possibility of Game 6 of the ALCS coming back to Texas.

Out schedule was flexible, anyway, so not a big deal.
