Wanna be a Wounderlodge owner
This post is specifically to those new to the forum, and
wannabee's (spell it)? Any hoo, I was one not too long ago. I came across the forum due to a web posting referral. I was pretty green and undecided about which motorhome to purchase, but like you, I wanted to put whatever bucks I had into the best unit I could. I came aboard the original forum and watched, listened (chat room), and searched the archives to learn as much as I could for almost a year! Aside from eventually finding the bird for us, we really felt akin to the group here on the net. Nowadays, things are kinda crappy on all the bluebird forums. I mean there seems to be power struggles on every one them, for what I don't know. So you weed through the shallow parts, and persevere for the information you need to accomplish your goals (sorry about that, it didn't used to be this way). At the end of the day, one of these Bluebird forums will provide you confidence and a knowing that you made the right decision in obtaining a bird for yourselves. I guess I'm trying to say, that as a one-year, 20 year old bird owner, I'm really happy with the machine. Oh yeah, I've spent a little money on the bitch, but she's still my girl. You must be up for the task to maintain'er, but just hire Ralph Fulenwider to inspect your unit before purchase (there's more under the hood than you can see yurself), and get those fancy dancy Dupree crapper valves, add a couple of fuses in the drawer for backup, and hit it! As one forum member's coach name sez it all â "The Bird Abides", the rest is bs. Thanks to the great contributions by so many â and Jeff; if ere I can git enuf fuel to make it to Mitchigun, I'll lQQk forward to kik'n ya in the shins for being so der dern smart about da bird. Tom Warner's brother, Tomey, 2007, Batmobile on order . Still driving this old piece of crap til then. |
