House battery charging
I noticed that my house batteries do not charge when the generator runs
only when the engine is running. What do I look for? Chuck Harrison Akron, Ohio 90 SP36 |

I don't know the specifics of 90's, but to get from generator power --> battery power there has to be a charger or inverter/charger somewhere powered by the generator which is sending 12/14V to the battery bank.

On my 94 WB, I believe the Aux. Battery Switch must be on when running the
generator or hooked to shore power for the house batteries to charge. --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, Dorn Hetzel > > I don't know the specifics of 90's, but to get from generator power --> > battery power there has to be a charger or inverter/charger somewhere > powered by the generator which is sending 12/14V to the battery bank. > > On Mon, Jun 20, 2011 at 3:20 PM, WILLIAM > > > ** > > > > > > I noticed that my house batteries do not charge when the generator runs > > only when the engine is running. Chuck,
Make a quick check to be sure both your chargers are working.
My 91 SP had two chargers and I assume you do also.
